Playground

The playground lets you generate images directly from the dashboard — useful for testing prompts, comparing models, and experimenting before integrating via a skill file or CLI. For production use, Depicta is designed to be used through your AI assistant or programmatically.

Tip

The playground is a testing tool. For the best results, use Depicta through an AI assistant — it writes better prompts, searches guidelines, and chains operations automatically.

Using the playground

1. Choose a content type — Image, Graphic, Diagram, or Story.
2. Pick an operation — Generate, Edit, or Combine.
3. Select a model — or leave the default. Each model shows its approximate cost.
4. Write your prompt — describe what you want.
5. Add reference images (optional) — up to 5, for style or composition guidance.
6. Set aspect ratio and image size (optional).
7. Click Generate.

The result appears in the preview panel. Download it or copy the URL.

Playground generations use your account credits, same as CLI and API.
