Credits and billing

Depicta uses a pay-as-you-go credit system in EUR. No subscriptions.

How it works

1. Top up your balance in the dashboard — at least EUR 10 of credits (EUR, excluding VAT; VAT is added when you buy credits). By default, a single top-up is at most EUR 100 and your balance after a top-up cannot exceed EUR 100; contact us if you need more.
2. Generate images — each generation deducts the actual cost from your balance.
3. Process images — 21 processing operations for resizing, cropping, format conversion, vectorization, and more, each at a fixed price (see Pricing).

Pricing

The cost of each generation depends on the model, the image size (for example, 4K costs about twice as much as 1K) and the number of input and reference images. Prices shown in the Models page and the pricing endpoint are approximate — the actual cost is determined after generation and included in the response (cost_eur).

Every price, and the cost_eur in each response, is in credits (EUR, excluding VAT; VAT is added when you buy credits). The pricing endpoint also returns a disclaimer saying so.

Processing operations have a fixed price per operation: EUR 0.02 each, EUR 0.10 for vectorize.

How charges work

When you make a generation request, Depicta places a hold on your balance for the estimated cost. Once the image is generated and the actual cost is known, the hold is settled — if the actual cost is less than the hold, the remainder is returned to your balance immediately.

This means your available balance may temporarily appear lower during generation, but you are only charged the actual cost.

Once a generation request is accepted, it cannot be cancelled — even if your connection drops, the image will be generated and available for download for one hour. Failed generations are not charged, including requests the model’s provider refuses. If any image in a story fails or is refused, the whole story fails: none of it is delivered or charged. Withheld images are not charged: if our check of a generated image withholds it, it is not delivered and you pay nothing for it.

Free trial

New accounts may receive free trial credits. The availability and amount of the trial can change — check the sign-up page or dashboard for current details.

Credit expiry

Credits are valid for 12 months from your last paid top-up. Purchasing more credits resets the clock for your entire balance.

Free trial credits and administrative credit grants do not move an existing expiry date. On an account that has no expiry date yet, a first free grant sets one.

A request also needs enough balance for its estimated hold; otherwise it returns 402 credit_insufficient_balance.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe, our merchant of record. Stripe handles VAT calculation and collection. You can pay with credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other regional methods Stripe surfaces based on your location. Charges appear on your statement as LINK.COM* DEPICTA.

Our prices are set in EUR, and your credits are always in EUR. At checkout, Stripe may show and charge the price in your local currency instead; Stripe sets the converted price, which can include a conversion charge, and shows it before you pay. You can instead choose to pay in EUR at checkout; your bank’s own exchange rate and fees may then apply. Refunds are made in the currency you paid, unless you agree to a refund by bank transfer, which is paid in EUR.

Withdrawal and refunds

If you are a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the date of each credit purchase. You may request a refund within this period without giving any reason.

Before you pay, we ask you to tick this statement: “I ask Depicta to make my credits available immediately. I understand that, if I withdraw within 14 days, I get back only the price of credits I have not used, and that I lose the right of withdrawal for credits I use.” So, within the 14-day window:

• We refund the share of the price, VAT included, that matches the paid credits you have not used
• Used credits — credits you used after asking for immediate access — are not refunded
• Free trial credits are not eligible for refund (they were granted, not purchased)
• If you bought credits before we asked for this statement, or withdraw before we have sent you the purchase confirmation email, we refund the whole purchase price

You withdraw with the “Withdraw from contract here” button in your billing dashboard, by email, or by any other clear statement.

We also offer the same withdrawal and refund, as a contractual commitment, to business customers for self-service purchases.
